We are happy to work with therapists whether involved in ergo, physiotherapy or relationship therapy. Our therapy animals can introduce an extra element to support your work.
Often people are not really motivated, they do not want to say what is really on their mind, they are introverted, they lack structure or a sense of responsibility, etc. An animal can then make a world of difference in a therapeutic session.
We are happy to offer therapists a trained animal (with a handler) that can perform practical tasks or simply be present. This of course depends on individual needs and the requirements of the therapist.
We attach great importance to play therapy.
The dog handler does not actively participate in the therapy and is bound by professional secrecy.
Our therapy animals are trained under the guidance of trainer and behavioural therapist Inge Pauwels and are assessed regarding behaviour and character. Each animal must be a certified therapy animal and must have passed a medical examination.
