AAI for organizations
Do you want to responsibly introduce animal-assisted interventions in a school, care facility, hospital, library, welfare organization, company, or other professional context? We guide you from feasibility analysis and policy to implementation and follow-up.
Active therapy animals
An active therapy animal forms a team with a professionally trained therapy animal handler. They carry out goal-oriented animal-assisted interventions for other people, usually on location and always within a clear professional and welfare-oriented framework.
Passive therapy animals
A passive therapy animal supports one fixed person in daily life. The cooperation can contribute to greater self-reliance, structure, social participation, well-being, and a sense of security.
Vocational training programs for supervisors
Working professionally with a therapy animal requires more than dedication and a suitable animal. That is why, together with Toscanzahoeve, we are developing clear training pathways for handlers, coordinators, practice coaches, evaluators, and other human-animal professionals.
Knowledge, quality and animal welfare
Good intentions are not enough. High-quality animal-assisted interventions require professional knowledge, ethical awareness, clear protocols, and continuous attention to the boundaries and welfare of the animal. Education and certification: consciously separated
Therapiedier vzw organizes the professional training courses Animal-Assisted Therapy Practitioner and Animal-Assisted Therapy Trainer. In doing so, we collaborate with Toscanzahoeve as a substantive and practical partner, including for expertise in animal behavior, training, and the guidance of human-animal combinations. Screening, assessment, and certification take place according to predetermined quality criteria and transparent procedures.
