Dog dementia

Our passive therapy animals can help people with dementia at home. Our active therapy animals can support people in residential care centers with an intervention.

You are here: Home / Dog dementia

Dementia is the name for a combination of symptoms (a syndrome) in which the brain can no longer process information properly. Dementia is an umbrella term for more than fifty diseases. The most common form of dementia is Alzheimer's disease.

Our passive therapy animals can help people with dementia at home.
Our active therapy animals can support people in residential care centers with an intervention.

Together with you, we train a dementia dog that can make life easier for you.

Would you like to know if you are eligible for such a therapy dog and the process? Then make an initial appointment (intake) via our online calendar or via mail to info@therapiedier.be. Then we will look at the possibilities together.
